LANCASTER, Pa. -- November 5 -- Johns Hopkins, which won the Conference championship with an 8-1 record, placed seven players on the 1996 All-Centennial Conference women's soccer team announced today.
Gettysburg senior Lori Moll (Upper Perkiomen, PA/Pennsburg) was a first-team choice at back for the second consecutive year and was named the Conference's Player of the Year in a balloting conducted by the conference's 10 head coaches. Moll anchored a defense that allowed just seven goals in nine Conference games.

The Blue Jay defense allowed just four goals in league play and 10 overall.

Smith), who finished third in conference scoring with 7-3-17. Senior midfielder Laura DeStefano (West Chester, PA/West Chester East), a second-team All-CC selection a year ago, was the other Haverford representative on the elite squad. Junior midfielder Paula Connard (Francestown, NH/Conval) earned first-team honors for the second year in a row after scoring 2-1-5 in league play.
