Kahn Named NCBWA Player of the Year
(June 7) - "Dave Kahn (New Hyde Park, NY / Herricks), who recently led the Johns Hopkins baseball team to the NCAA Division III College World Series, has been named the 2010 NCAA Division III Player of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). Kahn was one of eight players selected as their respective region's "Hitter of the Year" and from those eight Kahn was a unanimous selection as the top player in the nation."

Cortland Eliminates Hopkins
(May 30) - "The #1 Johns Hopkins baseball team's season came to an end at the DIII College World Series with a 23-8 loss to #9 Cortland. The Red Dragons scored eight runs in the second and again in the fifth while pounding out 26 hits on their way to victory. The Blue Jays finish the season with a record of 44-7 while Cortland improves to 38-9-1. The 44 wins set the Hopkins' single-season record for wins in a season."

Kahn Named d3baseball.com Player of Year
(May 27) - "The honors continue to roll in for the top-ranked Johns Hopkins baseball team as senior centerfielder Dave Kahn (New Hyde Park, NY / Herricks) has been selected as the d3baseball.com National Player of the Year it was announced today. Kahn, who also landed a spot on the d3baseball.com All-America First Team, was previously named the Centennial Conference Player of the Year. He also earned First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors from the ABCA."

Hopkins Wins Mid-Atlantic Regional
(May 23) - "The Johns Hopkins baseball team won the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship with an 8-3 win over #13 Kean Sunday afternoon. The Blue Jays will now compete at the DIII NCAA College World Series in Grand Chute, WI. The win is the 43rd of the season for Hopkins, compared to just five losses, breaking the school record for wins which was set by the 2008 NCAA Runner-up squad. Kean finishes its season at 39-12. Hopkins will face #6 Heidelberg at 4:30 pm CT on Friday, May 28 in its first game of the World Series."

35 Named to Academic Honor Roll
(May 14) - Three-hundred thirty-one students, including 35 baseball players, have been named to the spring Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. To be nominated for the AHR, a student must be a sophomore, junior or senior; participate in at least 50 percent of the team contests; and have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher. Four-Peat for Jays
(May 2) - "The #2 Johns Hopkins baseball team clinched a spot in the NCAA Tournament with a 13-6 win over Haverford in the championship game of the Centennial Conference Tournament. This is the fourth straight Centennial Conference title for the Blue Jays, who extended their winning streak to 30 games. The Blue Jays are now 37-3 on the season and were perfect against conference opponents. The Fords finish their season at 24-16."

All-Conference Team Announced;
Hopkins' Kahn, Eagleson Win Awards
(April 28) - Johns Hopkins senior OF Dave Kahn and sophomore P Sam Eagleson were named the Conference's Player and Pitcher of the Year, respectively, as the 2010 All-Centennial baseball team was announced today. Kahn is the ninth Blue Jay to earn Player of the Year honors, while Eagleson is the fourth Hopkins hurler to receive Pitcher of the Year laurels. The top-ranked Blue Jays placed seven players on the first team, including 2B Brian Youchak, who became the sixth player to earn first-team All-Centennial honors three times.
