    (December 15) - The final 2009 cross country release has been posted. Congratulations to Dickinson senior Greg Leak on earning All-America honors and to Red Devil coach Don Nichter on his selection as Conference Coach of the Year.

    Two Earn All-America Honors at NCAA Cross Country Meet
    (November 22) - Dickinson senior Greg Leak and Haverford sophomore Emily Lipman earned All-America honors with their performances at the 2009 NCAA Division III Cross Country championships in Cleveland on Saturday. Lipman crossed the finish line in 24th place, covering the 6K course in 22:39.1. Johns Hopkins finished seventh overall, followed by Dickinson (18th) and Haverford (30th). Leak finished 31st overall in the 8K race in a time of 26:06, leading the Red Devils to a 22nd place finish. Haverford recorded its fifth top-10 placing in the past six seasons, taking eighth place.

    43 Students Named to Fall Academic Honor Roll
    (November 3) - Forty-three cross country runners are among a group of 331 students who have been named to the 2009 Centennial Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. To be nominated for the Honor Roll, a student must meet the following criteria: (a) participates in at least 50 percent of contests, matches or meets, or in the Conference varsity championship in cross country; (b) a sophomore or higher in class standing; (c) cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher. pictured: Dickinson's Brian Krusell

    Dickinson Sets Meet Record in Defending Title
    (November 1) - "The Dickinson College men's cross country team successfully defended its title at the Centennial Conference Championships with a championship meet record 16 points. The Red Devils captured five of the top six places in the race, led by two-time individual champion Greg Leak (Chadds Ford, Pa. / Unionville), who crossed the line in a time of 26:30. The Devils, ranked ninth-nationally, claim their second straight Centennial title with #8-ranked Haverford placing second with 46 points on the day. Johns Hopkins was third with 68. The win also marked the second straight individual title and Runner of the Year honor for Leak.
