  • Dickinson Is Favorite to Win Women's Title
    (August 23) - Dickinson was selected in the Centennial Conference's annual preseason poll of head coaches to win the women's cross country title in 2010. Dickinson will look to add an 11th title to the record books this fall, earning the top spot with five first-place votes for 77 points (voters not permitted to vote for their own team). Rounding out the top five are defending champion Johns Hopkins with 71 points and two first-place votes, Haverford with 70 points and three first-place votes, Gettysburg with 53 points and Franklin & Marshall and Swarthmore tied for fifth with 44 points each.

    Hewitt Named Bryn Mawr XC/Track Coach
    (July 8) - "Bryn Mawr College Director of Athletics Kathy Tierney has announced the hiring of Jason Hewitt as the new cross country and track and field coach. Hewitt arrives at Bryn Mawr following a four-year tenure at fellow Seven Sister institution, Mount Holyoke. While with the Lyons, Jason served as head coach of the indoor track and field team before adding the role of assistant coach for outdoor track in 2005 and assistant cross country coach in 2007."
