Hopkins Captures Baltimore Metro Title
(September 6) - The Johns Hopkins women's cross country team had three of the top four runners and five individuals finished in the top 20 to lead the Blue Jays to the 2008 Baltimore Metro Women's Cross Country Championship at Oregon Ridge Friday afternoon. The team title is the first for the Blue Jays and snaps a streak of four straight championships for host Towson.

Ursinus' Johnson Named Runner of the Week
(September 3) - Ursinus senior Christa Johnson has been selected as the Conference's Runner of the Week. She finished first at the Delaware Valley Invitational, covering the 6K course in 22:42.47 to lead the Bears to the team title.

Blue Jays, Garnet Appear in National Preseason Top 35
(August 28) - Defending national champion Amherst is the unanimous No. 1 team in Division III according to the US. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's preseason poll. Johns Hopkins is ranked 17th overall and first
among teams in the Mideast Region, while Swarthmore is No. 27 nationally and
second in the region. Dickinson (5), Haverford (7) and Gettysburg (10) are also
ranked in region.
