Kira Porten and Angela Tizon, Bryn Mawr (So., Portland, OR / Lincoln HS and Fr., Cape Elizabeth, ME / Cape Elizabeth HS) - Porten and Tizon moved up into scoring positions four and five on the difficult Belmont Plateau course last weekend.

Amy Glennon, Dickinson (So., Millbrook, NY / The Millbrook School) - Glennon finished 19th overall to lead the Red Devils to a sixth-place finish at the Dickinson Open last weekend.

Stephanie Stroud, Franklin & Marshall (Sr., Mattapoisett, MA / Old Rochester Regional HS) - Stroud came in second place, just one second behind the winner, to earn her second top-five finish this year.

Courtney Fairbanks, Haverford (Fr., Eugene, OR / South Eugene HS) - Fairbanks finished in fourth place at the Philadelphia Metro Championships - her first collegiate 5,000 meter race.

Ly-Lan Wisler, Johns Hopkins (Fr., Bridgewater, NJ / Peddie School) - Wisler led Hopkins to a sixth-place finish, ahead of five Division I programs, at the George Washington Invitational.

Laura Roth, Muhlenberg (Jr., Schnecksville, PA / Parkland HS) - Roth came in second out of 47 runners for her second-straight top-five finish of the 1999 season.

Alissa Parmelee, Swarthmore (Jr., Rockville, MD / Walter Johnson HS) - Parmelee posted a personal-best time of 20:26, finishing in eighth place overall as the Garnet swept its own quad meet.

Jill Krebs, Western Maryland (So., New Windsor, MD / South Carroll HS) - Krebs ran a course-record time of 19:08.48 and won the Spartan Invitational at York College over the weekend, leading a 1-2-3-4 Green Terror sweep in the individual standings.
