Eight Named to All-South Region Team
(December 15) - Eight Centennial Conference players have been selected to the D3football.com All-South Region team that was announced recently. Headlining the group is Johns Hopkins RB Andrew Kase and OT Mike Stoffel, who were named to the first team. Blue Jay head coach Jim Margraff was named Coach of the Year.

Wesley Ends Hopkins' Cinderella Run
(December 5) - "The Johns Hopkins football team had its stunning run through the 2009 NCAA Division III Football Playoffs stopped in an icy rain at third-ranked Wesley Saturday afternoon as the Wolverines capitalized on a failed fake punt and a blocked punt to slip past the Blue Jays, 12-0, Saturday afternoon. The Wolverines, who will play defending national champion Mount Union in next week's semifinals, improve to 13-0 with the win, while the Blue Jays had their five-game winning streak snapped and end the year at 10-3." Muhlenberg's Floyd Named First-Team Academic All-America
(November 24) - "Senior defensive lineman Jake Floyd of the Muhlenberg football team was selected to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District II College Division first team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Floyd is only the sixth Mule football player to earn first-team Academic All-America honors, and the first since Mike Hoffman in 1990. A finance major and double minor in political science and entrepreneurial studies, Floyd is served as a team captain in 2009 and received All-Centennial Conference honorable mention."

Johns Hopkins Placed Seven on All-CC First Team; Kase, Wixted Named Players of the Year
(November 16) - Johns Hopkins, who won its fifth Centennial championship and first since 2005, placed seven players on the first team as the 2009 All-Centennial football team was released today. Blue Jay senior RB Andrew Kase and senior LB Colin Wixted were named the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively. Franklin & Marshall's John Troxell was selected by his peers as the Coach of the Year.

56 Students Named to Fall Academic Honor Roll
(November 3) - Fifty-six football players are among a group of 331
students who have been named to the 2009 Centennial Conference Fall
Academic Honor Roll. To be nominated for the Honor Roll, a student must
meet the following criteria: (a) participates in at least 50 percent of
contests, matches or meets, or in the Conference varsity championship in
cross country; (b) a sophomore or higher in class standing; (c)
