Four Named to Academic Honor Roll
(May 14) - Three-hundred thirty-one students, including four golfers, have been named to the spring Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. To be nominated for the AHR, a student must be a sophomore, junior or senior; participate in at least 50 percent of the team contests; and have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher. Diplomats Finish 21st at NCAAs
(May 14) - "Franklin & Marshall shot 312 over the final 18 holes of the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Golf National Championships. The Diplomats dropped from 16th to 21st on the final day, finishing in the same spot as they did at the 2009 national championships. Methodist University earned its 10th NCAA Division III Men's Golf championship in dramatic fashion, as Josh Schrader sank the winning putt on the 18th green for a one-stroke victory over Guilford College in a rain-delayed final round Friday at Hershey Links."

Diplomats Defend Men's Golf Crown
(April 25) - Franklin & Marshall won its fourth Centennial Conference men's golf championship title with an 11-stroke victory over runnerup McDaniel Sunday at Stonewall North GC in Elverson, Pa. The defending champion Diplomats carded a second-round 301 and a final-round 304 to post a 910. Green Terror junior Paul Kovalcheck (pictured) won a sudden-death playoff with F&M sophomore Cameron Warner to take medalist honors. The duo went par-bogey before Kovalcheck's five on the par-5 18th won the third playoff hole.

Golf Championship Previews
(April 23) - The Centennial Conference men's and women's golf championships are set to tee off on Saturday with Franklin & Marshall and McDaniel looking to defend their respective titles. The 54-hole men's event will be held at Stonewall Golf Club in Elverson, Pa., hosted by Ursinus, while the 36-hole women's tourney is hosted by McDaniel at Piney Branch GC in Hampstead, Md. Here is what to watch for this weekend.
