  • Diplomats Second, Mules Fourth at Bent Creek Invitational
(October 6) - "The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team put a wrap on the fall season with a second-place finish at the Bent Creek Invitational on Monday. The Diplomats had four golfers in the top 15, but could not manage to keep the blistering pace of tournament champions, Messiah, which navigated the windy Bent Creek golf course in 303 strokes, 16 shots better than F&M." The Diplomats' Andrew Woods (pictured) was the low Centennial finisher, tying for fifth with a 76. Biff Slocum led Muhlenberg with a T11 finish at 79.

Mazurek Ties for Second at Vulcan Invite; Terror Finishes Fifth
(October 6) - "K.J. Mazurek (Rumson, N.J. / Rumson-Fair Haven) shot a career-low 36-hole score of 144 to lead McDaniel to a fifth-place finish at the Vulcan Invitational hosted by California (Pa.) in men's golf action on Sunday and Monday. Competing against some of the top Division II and III teams in the region, the Green Terror carded a two-round total of 615 over the two courses of Cedarbrook Golf Course. The squad recorded a season-low 299 at the shorter, par 71 Red Course on Sunday before finishing with a 316 on the longer, par 72 Gold Course on Monday. Mazurek shot even-par in Sunday's round to finish round one in tie for sixth place before firing a one-over 73 on Monday to vault to second place."

    Muhlenberg Captures Messiah Classic
(October 2) - "The Muhlenberg men's golf team took home all the top honors at the Messiah College Falcon Classic. The Mules won the team title by five strokes over Gettysburg with a score of 314. Junior Zachary Oyer (pictured) took medalist honors by two strokes by shooting a 2-over-par 74 at Blue Ridge Country Club in Harrisburg. The tournament championship was the first for Muhlenberg since it captured the Susquehanna Invitational in April 2008."
