MEN'S LACROSSE
Shoremen, Bullets Meet for Title
(May 8) - It's become as traditional as strawberries and cream at Wimbledon - Washington and Gettysburg will meet for the fourth straight season to determine the Centennial men's lacrosse championship. The Shoremen (16-1) scored the first eight goals of the second half to erase a 7-5 halftime deficit and defeat McDaniel, 13-8. Nick Purkat scored an extra-man goal with 11.6 seconds remaining as the Bullets (12-3) escaped with a 12-11 victory over Dickinson. The two teams meet Sunday at 1 p.m. in Chestertown for the championship.

SOFTBALL
McDaniel Falls to Cabrini, 2-1
(May 8) - "Junior shortstop Jen Prendeville had two hits and Cabrini scored single runs in the second and fifth innings to register a 2-1 victory over McDaniel. Jen Euganeo's RBI double scored Mary Adam with Cabrini's first run. The Cavaliers extended the lead to 2-0 in the fifth as Euganeo reached on an error, moved to second on a sacifice, advanced to third on a single by Prendeville, then scored on the second M cDaniel error of the inning." WOMEN'S LACROSSE
Gettysburg Takes on W&L in NCAAs
(May 8) - Gettysburg heads to the Shore for its NCAA tournament opener on Saturday as the Bullets take on Washington & Lee at 2 p.m at Salisbury University. The fifth-ranked Bullets (19-2) are making their fourth NCAA appearance, while the 11th ranked Generals (15-3) make their fifth trip to the national tournament. Listen LIVE over WLUR-FM
