NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! Diplomats Capture D-III Women's Lacrosse Title
(May 17) - "62 seconds away from defeat, Franklin & Marshall's Cat Serpe
streaked into the Salisbury eight-meter fan and dumped the ball inside
of the right post. Serpe's shot salvaged the season and sent the 2009
NCAA Division III National Championships into overtime. 162 seconds
later, Blake Hargest cashed in on the second life to deliver the
Diplomats (21-1) an 11-10 win over the Sea Gulls (20-2) and their second
NCAA Championship in three years."

Salisbury Rallies Past Gettysburg, 11-10
(May 17) - "The NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament couldn't
ask for a better opening semifinal game than the performance put on by
Gettysburg College and Salisbury University on Saturday, May 16, at
Donald J. Kerr Stadium. The
Sea Gulls tallied the contest's last two
goals and survived a last-second shot by the Bullets that clanged off
the post to slip by 11-10 and advance to Sunday's national title game."
