Diplomats Picked to Repeat
(January 18) - "Coming off of its second NCAA Division III Championship in three years, the Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse team has been ranked number one by Lacrosse Magazine. The Diplomats went 21-1 in 2009, capping the season with a thrilling 11-10, overtime win over Salisbury in the NCAA DIII title game. F&M graduated 291 points from its offense, but returns largely intact on the defensive end of the field.

Gettysburg Slotted Third in Lax Magazine Preseason Poll
(January 18) - "All eyes will be on the Gettysburg College women's lacrosse team this spring as both a national title contender and as the hosts of the 2010 NCAA Division II and III Women's Lacrosse Championships. The Bullets will head into the new season as a favorite for the DIII crown as the squad was picked third in the DIII preseason poll by Lacrosse Magazine."
