    (March 8) - Muhlenberg attacker Danielle Rosen and Haverford midfielder Perrin Downing have been named the Conference's Players of the Week. Rosen (pictured) scored five goals and assisted on four others for nine points in the Mules' season-opening 19-7 win at Kean. All but one of her points came in the first half, helping 'Berg tie a school record with 15 first- half goals. Downing played a major defensive role in a 2-0 week for the Fords. She caused six turnovers and picked up seven ground balls as Haverford allowed just six goals in two games.

    Diplomats Ground Generals
    (March 7) - "Three different Diplomats tallied hat tricks to lead No. 1 Franklin & Marshall to a 16-8 win over No. 16 Washington & Lee in the opening game of F&M's second NCAA title defense. Senior attack, Blake Hargest gave the Diplomats (1-0) an early boost, and left the Generals (2-2) playing catch-up the rest of the way."

    McDaniel Moves to 3-0
    (March 7) - "Brittany Baer (Manchester, Md. / Westminster) recorded five goals for the second straight game to lead McDaniel to an 12-10 victory over St. Mary's (Md.) in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Saturday. Trailing 6-2 with 8:08 to play in the first half, the Green Terror (3-0) reeled off the final two goals of the first half and first five of the second half to take a 9-6 lead en route to its third straight victory to open the season."

    Bullets Defeat Washington in CC Opener
    (March 6) - "Senior Nina Emala (Baltimore, Md. / Bryn Mawr School) tied a career high with seven points, all in the first half, as second-ranked Gettysburg College opened the Centennial Conference schedule with an 18-9 victory over Washington (Md.) College Friday. Gettysburg (2-0, 1-0 CC), picked first in the conference preseason poll, opened with five goals and scored 11 of the first 12 en route to a 14-2 lead at the break. Senior Jessica Crane (Sudbury, Mass. / Lincoln-Sudbury) tossed in the first goal just 15 seconds into the contest. Emala had a hand in seven of the next 11 scores, including her fifth and final goal with 2:36 before the half."
