Gettysburg senior Chris Pryor (Lawrenceville, NJ / Lawrenceville School) was a first-team choice at forward and was also named the Conference's Player of the Year in balloting conducted by the 10 head coaches. He becomes the fourth consecutive Gettysburg player to earn Player of the Year honors, following in the footsteps of Noah Simon (1996), Greg Stevcic (1997) and Jason Vishio (1998). Pryor was the Centennial's second-leading scorer with 15 goals and eight assists for 38 points.
The Bullets, who finished 8-0-1 in the Conference and are 15-1-2 overall, placed four players on the first unit, two on the second team and one player received honorable mention. Joining Pryor on the frontline is senior Jason Vishio (Reading, PA / Exeter), who earned his second first-team nod, after scoring eight goals and setting a Conference record with 18 assists. Senior Adam Outerbridge (Paget, Bermuda / Middlesex School, MA) was named to the first-team midfield, while sophomore Mike McLaughlin (Swampscott, MA / Northfield Mt. Hermon) earned first-team recognition at back. Named to the second team was junior midfielder Jeremy Shapiro (Leonia, NJ / Fieldston School, NY), while junior goalkeeper Nick LaPorta (Chevy Chase, MD / Bethesda-Chevy Chase) was named honorable mention.
Johns Hopkins also placed four members on the first unit, led by senior forward Ted Zingman (Columbia, MD / Atholton), who was a unanimous selection after leading the Conference in goals (21) and points (50). Two Blue Jays repeated as first-teamers - senior back John Del Monaco (Bethpage, NY / Island Trees) and sophomore midfielder Ryan Kitzen (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa). Rounding out the JHU quartet was sophomore midfielder Matthew Doran (Stormville, NY / John Jay).
Haverford senior forward Rich Billings (East Greenwich, RI / East Greenwich) was a first-team choice for the second time. A first-team selection in 1996, he had 10-13-33 on the season and closed his career as the Conference's second-leading all-time goal scorer with 61. Muhlenberg senior Shane Topping (Nazareth, PA / Nazareth) moved up from the second team this fall. He was the leader of a Mule defense that permitted just 12 goals in 16 matches. Haverford junior Campbell Palfrey (New Orleans, LA / Metairie Country Day) was named the Conference's first-team goalkeeper. He registered a 1.17 goals against average and posted six shutouts.
