LANCASTER, Pa. -- Eight from the Centennial Conference have been named D3football.com Preseason All-America. The eight preseason honorees were tied for the most among all Division III conferences with the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Johns Hopkins placed three on the team, Muhlenberg and Susquehanna each landed two spots, and Dickinson earned one. Muhlenberg's Ryan Curtiss (TE, Sr.) and Frankie Feaster (DE, Sr.) headlined the group as both earned first team recognition. Johns Hopkins' David Tammaro (QB, Sr.) and Joe Figueroa (G, Sr.) along with Dickinson's James Turner (LB, Sr.) collected second team accolades, while JHU's Mike Kalanik (Sr., DE) and the Susquehanna duo of Danial Shelton (CB, Sr.) and Cole Dixon (LB, Sr.) nabbed third team recognition.
A total of 75 players were selected to D3football.com Preseason All-America teams. Johns Hopkins, Muhlenberg and Susquehanna were three of 16 programs to secure multiple preseason honorees.
