Ursinus Field Hockey Picked to Repeat in 2011

 

Defending champion Ursinus is the coaches favorite to capture the 2011 field hockey title in the Centennial Conference's annual preseason poll of head coaches.  The Bears were a unanimous choice with 100 points and 10 first-place votes (voters not permitted to vote for their own team).  Haverford earned the second spot on the poll with 89 points, while Johns Hopkins followed with 78 points for third place.  The fourth spot on the poll goes to Gettysburg with 75 points.  Rounding out the top six are Franklin & Marshall (62) and Washington College (60).
