Chelsey Talhelm, Franklin & Marshall College

No. 13 Franklin & Marshall 5, No. 2 Ursinus 1  (Saturday)

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Chelsey Talhelm recorded a hat trick to lead the No. 13 Franklin & Marshall field hockey team to a statement-making 5-1 victory over No. 2 Ursinus on Saturday in Centennial Conference play. The Diplomats remain unbeaten and now sit alone atop the conference standings with the win, while the Bears fall for the first time in 2011.

McDaniel 8, Bryn Mawr 0  (Saturday)

WESTMINSTER, Md. - Six different McDaniel players recorded a goal in an 8-0 conference win over Bryn Mawr on Saturday. Lindsay Riordon extended her team lead in goals to 11 with her fourth multiple-goal game of the season, scoring two of the first three goals for the Green Terror.

Washington College 2, Gettysburg 1 (Saturday)

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Senior midfielder Gussie Reilly converted a penalty stroke with 3:03 remaining in the game to give visiting Washington College a 2-1 conference win over host Gettysburg Saturday. Washington College now moves to 2-1 in conference play while Gettysburg slips to 1-2.

No. 17 Christopher Newport 6, No. 20 Johns Hopkins 0 (Sunday)

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - No. 17 Christopher Newport got six goals from Caitlin Cahill en toute to a 6-0 win over visiting No. 20 Johns Hopkins in non-conference action Sunday. The Blue Jays fall to 5-3 on the season, while the Captains improve to 5-2.

Bryn Mawr 2, St. Vincent 0 (Sunday)

BRYN MAWR, Pa. - Freshmen Maddie Beckmann notched a goal and an assist Sunday as Bryn Mawr defeated visiting St. Vincent College 2-0 in non-conference action. The win by the Owls snapped a 52-game losing streak and gives head coach Marci Scheuing her first win mining the Owls' sideline.
