Offensive Player of the Week 10/30/17

Clare Kavanagh, Sr, F, Johns Hopkins
Greenwood Village, Colo. / Cherry Creek HS

Kavanagh scored a pair of game-winning goals as the Blue Jays locked down the top seed for this week's Centennial Conference championship tournament. She tallied the first goal in Hop's 3-1 win at Gettysburg and notched the winner with 59.2 seconds remaining to topple #13 Franklin & Marshall, 2-1.




Offensive Player of the Week 10/23/17

Brooke Overly, Sr, F, Ursinus
Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata

Overly did all the scoring for the Bears in a huge 3-1 victory over Johns Hopkins on Saturday. The senior delivered her second career hat trick with three second-half goals - two in a span of 25 seconds to open up a 3-0 lead - as Ursinus handed the Blue Jays their first loss in conference play. 


Offensive Player of the Week 10/16/17

Annie Horsley, Sr, M, Franklin & Marshall
Pennington, N.J./The Pennington School

Senior Annie Horsley led Franklin & Marshall to a 2-0 week with wins over Washington College and Gettysburg. Horsley scored two goals on three shots in the 2-1 win over the Shorewomen to maintain the top spot in the Centennial Conference standings.

Greenwich, Conn. / Greenwich HS

Cole scored three goals and dished out a pair of assists as the Diplomats remained in first place in the CC with a pair of wins. She tallied a goal and an assist in a 6-1 triumph vs. McDaniel and put home two goals with an assist in the 3-2 overtime win at Ursinus. The second tally vs. the Bears gave her the program record with 14 game-winning goals.


Offensive Player of the Week 10/2/17

Erin Coverdale, So, F, Franklin & Marshall
Lewes, Del./Cape Henlopen

Erin Coverdale had two goals and three assists in a 1-1 week for the Diplomats. In the win over Conference-foe Swarthmore, Coverdale had two goals on two shots and assisted twice. The sophomore had the helper in the 3-1 loss to the #1 team in the nation, Messiah.


Offensive Player of the Week 9/25/17

Allison Cavicchio, Fr, F, Gettysburg
Medford, N.J./Shawnee

Cavicchio scored in each of Gettysburg's two overtime victories last week. She scored on one of her three shots in a 4-3 decision at McDaniel on Sept. 20. For an encore, the first-yer forward knocked home her own rebound in the 98th minute as the Bullets knocked off No. 15 Ursinus 2-1. It was Gettysburg's first win over a nationally-ranked foe since 2012. 


Offensive Player of the Week 9/18/17

Erin Coverdale, So, F, Franklin & Marshall
Lewes, Del./Cape Henlopen

Erin Coverdale led Franklin & Marshall's No. 14 field hockey team with all three goals to give the Diplomats a 3-0 victory over Muhlenberg on Saturday afternoon to open Centennial Conference (CC) play. Coverdale also tallied two goals against Eastern in the Diplomats' 5-0 victory. 


Offensive Player of the Week 9/11/17

Mason McNulty, Jr, A/M, Haverford
Hanover, N.H./Hanover

McNulty powered the game winning goal home against Cabrini as part of a two-goal effort before also scoring against Eastern in a 5-3 win. Behind McNulty's conference high total in goals and points, Haverford has sprinted out to a 3-0 start, the best start to a season since 2012 for the program. 


Offensive Player of the Week 9/5/17

Katerina DeLuca, So, F, Ursinus
Thornton, Pa./Westtown School

DeLuca scored two goals and assisted on another for a career-high three points in Friday's season-opening triumph over Rowan. DeLuca found the back of the cage on two of her three shots in her first career start.
