Washington College Sweeps CC Sportsmanship Awards
Washington College's men's and women's basketball teams were named the Centennial Conference Sportsmanship award winners by the CC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The Shoremen and Shorewomen will represent the Conference on the NCAA ballot this summer.

Marian Ware Director of Physical Education and Athletics Adam Hertz announced Friday that Landry Kosmalski, an assistant coach at Davidson College, has been named the head men's basketball coach at Swarthmore College.

No. 3 MIT defeated No. 9 Franklin & Marshall 69-54 in the NCAA Elite Eight Saturday evening in Lancaster. F&M wrapped up its season with a 28-3 mark while MIT improved to 29-1 and advanced to their first Final Four.

Georgio Milligan saved his best performance of the season for the biggest game of the year with a season-high 30 points to lead No. 9 Franklin & Marshall to an 80-71 victory over No. 2 Amherst in the NCAA Sweet 16.

F&M Hosts Weekend Sectional
Franklin & Marshall was chosen to host one of four sectional rounds of the NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament this weekend in Lancaster. The Diplomats will play Amherst in the Sweet 16, while MIT and Staten Island will meet in the other contest.

Hayk Gyokchyan scored a career-high 34 points to lead No. 9 Franklin & Marshall to an 82-72 victory over Western Connecticut in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Diplomats will face Amherst on Friday in the Sweet 16 at a site and time to be determined.

Winter All-Sportsmanship Team
The Centennial Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee established the All-Sportsmanship team in 2007. Each team elected one member from their team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-Centennial sportsmanship team.
