Breslin (Hagerstown, MD/St. Maria Goretti) scored a career-high
and game-best 36 points as visiting Washington College recorded a
73-66 road victory at Ursinus in Centennial Conference men's
basketball action at Helfferich Hall on Wednesday night. The
Shoremen improve to 12-6 overall and 8-3 in the conference, while
the Bears drop to 7-11 and 6-5 respectively. The Shoremen also snap
a 13-game losing streak at Ursinus as the team recorded its first
win in Collegeville since February 22, 1999 when WC topped the
Bears, 72-69, in a conference play-in game. Breslin's previous
career-high was 33 points set earlier this season at Muhlenberg on
December 3, 2011. Jon Ward had 19 points to lead the Bears, while
Pat Vasturia added 10 points.
Franklin & Marshall 65, Johns Hopkins

Salandra had a career-night with 24 points and 10 rebounds to
lead No. 9 Franklin & Marshall to a 65-40 victory over Johns
Hopkins in Centennial Conference (CC) men's basketball
action. F&M improved to 17-1, 10-1 CC while the Blue Jays
fell to 10-8, 6-5 CC. Salandra shot a near-perfect 12-for-13 from
the floor to go over the 20-point plateau for the first time in his
career. His double-double was also the first for Salandra as
a Diplomat. The sophomore tied a career-high with three blocks and
improved his conference-leading shooting percentage to 69% from the

Milligan finished with 13 points, shooting 6-for-6 from the
stripe. Milligan has 1,664 career points and is five points shy
from passing Terry Scott '88 for the third spot on the all-time
F&M scoring list.
Dickinson 44, Gettysburg 38
The Dickinson College men's basketball team played at a
deliberate and modest pace, matching the half-court style of
visiting Gettysburg on Wednesday night. The game plan paid-off in
the end as the Red Devils outscored the visitors, 24-17, in the
second half en route to a 44-38 win at the Kline Center. Adam Honig
finished with a game-high 17 points, hitting a trio of
three-pointers and shooting 4-for-5 from the line. He dished out
three assists and added a steal. Brendan The Devils turned in
another strong defensive performance, holding the Bullets (8-10,
5-6) to single-digits in the scoring column. Trelease led the
way with eight points while Benjamin Constable added seven points
and six rebounds. The Devils held Gettysburg to just 16 percent
shooting in the second half as the Bullets hit just 3-for-19 after
the break.
McDaniel 58, Swarthmore 46
McDaniel used a late surge to turn a four-point advantage into
double-digit victory, defeating Swarthmore 58-46 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's basketball action on
Wednesday. Doug
Macrone (Hatboro, Pa./Hun School of Princeton) led the Green
Terror (7-11, 4-7 CC) to its third win in four games with 19 points
– 16 of which came after halftime, shooting 6 of 9 from
3-point range. Tyler Rudd and Louis Sarris-Grau added 11 points
apiece for the Green Terror. Jay Kober paced the Garnet (1-17, 1-10
CC) with 17 points.
Muhlenberg 79, Haverford

Haverford College fought back from an eight-point halftime
deficit to pull even with host Muhlenberg College during
second-half action of Wednesday night's Centennial Conference men's
basketball contest, but the Mules pulled away over the final eight
minutes to register a 79-69 win over the Fords. Ian Goldberg
posted a team-high 19 points and added five assists, a steal and a
pair of rebounds. Spencer Liddic's 27 points led the Mules on
the night.
