Franklin & Marshall was selected to repeat as Centennial Conference champions in 2012-13 preseason poll of men's basketball coaches and sports information directors.
The Diplomats earned 15 first-place votes and a total of 159 points in the preseason poll. Finishing second with 3 first-place votes and 142 points were the Dickinson Red Devils. Muhlenberg was the third team to receive first-place votes (2) and selected to finish third this season with 126 points. Rounding out the top five are Johns Hopkins and Ursinus with 108 and 98 points, respectively.
