Barkley averaged 21.0 points while shooting 68.4 percent from the field in a 2-0 week for the Garnet. He had 19 points with three treys in a 91-86 win at Ursinus and followed that up with a 23-point effort on 7-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc in a 72-57 win at Bryn Athyn. Barkley was 13-of-19 from the field, including 10-of-13 from three-point land on the week.

Swarthmore is 2-0 in the Conference for the first time in the Centennial's 21-year history after a 91-86 win at Ursinus. Karl Barkley (Davidson, N.C.) led the Garnet with 19 points.

Ursinus sophomore G Trevor Norton (Mullica Hill, N.J.) drained six threes on his way to a game-high 26 points in the Bears' 91-86 loss to Swarthmore.

Johns Hopkins junior F George Bugarinovic (Overland Park, Kan.) scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds as the Blue Jays posted their largest margin of victory over Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, 79-61. He also had 13 of his 17 points in the second half in the come-from-behind win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

Gettysburg freshman F Cody Kieffer (Gettysburg, Pa.) posted his first collegiate double-double in the Bullets' 74-52 loss to Dickinson. He scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, with eight coming on the offensive glass.

Franklin & Marshall senior F Jon Salandra (Harrison, N.Y.) registered a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds in a 64-61 loss to 12th-ranked St. Mary's. He also blocked five shots and handed out a pair of assists.

McDaniel overcame a 17-point deficit to defeat Eastern, 74-72, in overtime. Sophomore F Tim Stewart (Smyrna, Del.) led five players in double figures with 13 points while senior F Evan Pupelis (Manhasset, N.Y.) had a double-double with 10 points and 10 caroms.
