F&M Edges McDaniel for Top Billing in Men's Golf Preseason Poll

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Five-time defending champion Franklin & Marshall edged perennial contender McDaniel by the narrowest of margins for top billing in the 2019 Centennial Conference Men's Golf Preseason Poll. The Diplomats secured four first-place votes and 34 points, while the Green Terror collected 33 points and the other three first-place nods. 

Swarthmore ranked third in the voting with 24 points, followed by Gettysburg (21) and Dickinson (17) in the top five. Muhlenberg (12) and Ursinus (6) rounded out the poll in sixth and seventh place, respectively.  

Several teams are slated to begin their spring campaigns over the next few weeks, with all seven squads opening up action in March. For the full schedule, click here
