McDaniel tied for the team championship at the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational on Monday but lost on an extra-hole tiebreaker to Scranton. The Terror's Greg Bowman finished second overall, also losing on a tiebreaker match of cards.

Garnet Takes Second at McDaniel Invitational
Swarthmore could not make a three-shot first-round lead stand up and finished second to champion St. John Fisher at the McDaniel Invitational at The Bridges GC. The Garnet was the top finisher among Centennial schools and holds the tie-breaker for the Conference championship should the CC tournament not be able to be played on April 30-May 1.

Diplomats Win ECAC Title
Cameron Warner shot 78 on Saturday for a 36-hole total of 152. His effort was good enough to capture the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship and pace Franklin & Marshall to the team title. All five of F&M's golfers placed in the top six spots in the 18-golfer field.

Franklin & Marshall's men's golf team shot a 308 on Monday to capture the Bent Creek Invitational with seven strokes on the 16-team field. The Diplomats took their second consecutive tournament by landing two golfers in the top ten and four in the top 20.

Diplomats Finish 21st at NCAAs
"Franklin & Marshall shot 312 over the final 18 holes of the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Golf National Championships. The Diplomats dropped from 16th to 21st on the final day, finishing in the same spot as they did at the 2009 national championships. Methodist University earned its 10th NCAA Division III Men's Golf championship in dramatic fashion, as Josh Schrader sank the winning putt on the 18th green for a one-stroke victory over Guilford College in a rain-delayed final round Friday at Hershey Links."

Diplomats Defend Men's Golf Crown
Franklin & Marshall won its fourth Centennial Conference men's golf championship title with an 11-stroke victory over runnerup McDaniel Sunday at Stonewall North GC in Elverson, Pa. The defending champion Diplomats carded a second-round 301 and a final-round 304 to post a 910. Green Terror junior Paul Kovalcheck (pictured) won a sudden-death playoff with F&M sophomore Cameron Warner to take medalist honors. The duo went par-bogey before Kovalcheck's five on the par-5 18th won the third playoff hole.
