Smith Takes Down Long-Standing Record in 200 Fly

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Ursinus senior Christopher Smith (Wayne, Pa. / St. Joesph's Prep) took down a 13-year-old Conference and championship record in the 200 fly during the final day of the Centennial Conference Swimming Championship.

His time of 1:52.72 bested the previous record set by Stephen Michaels of Franklin & Marshall in 1999 (1:52.96). Smith also set a new school record with his time, which was his own, by 2.64 seconds.
