Gettysburg Men Win Tenth Conference Title

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Gettysburg men's swimming team captured its tenth Centennial Conference Swimming Championship Sunday at the Bullets Pool with a team score of 846. The team title is the Bullets' second-straight and their highest team total since the 1994 season.

Gettysburg freshman Mike Harmon concluded his first Centennial Conference Championship breaking the Conference, championship and school record in the 200 back with a time of 1:50.04.

The 400 free relay team of Jason Potter, Mike Harmon, Ashton Leyens and Matt Libby sealed the deal for the Bullets, capturing first place in the event with a time of 3:03.66. Their record-breaking time notched a Conference and championship record and was an NCAA DII B qualifying time.

Dickinson Sophomore Jason Adams earned the 2012 Men's Swimming Most Outstanding Performer Award for the second-straight year.
