Hersh Ousted in ITA Semifinals

Johns Hopkins men's tennis junior Andy Hersh was defeated in the semifinals of the 2011 ITA National Small College Championship. He advanced to the championship by virtue of winning the ITA South Atlantic Regional.

Hersh beat fourth-seeded Amrik Donkena of Gustavus Adolphus, 6-4, 6-1 in the quarterfinals on Thursday. But he ran into top-seeded Dillon Pottish (Emory) in the semifinals and was ousted, 6-2, 6-2. Pottish will meet Washington University's Adam Putterman for the title.
