Blue Jays Outflank Generals
The 13th-ranked Johns Hopkins men's tennis team opened its spring slate with a 7-2 win over Washington & Lee and gave head coach Jamie Engles a win in his coaching debut. The Blue Jays improve to 1-1 on the season while the Generals suffer their first loss of the season, falling to 2-1.

Johns Hopkins is the Preseason Favorite
Johns Hopkins was selected in the Centennial Conference's annual preseason poll of head coaches on Friday to win the men's tennis title in 2012. The Blue Jay men were a unanimous choice with 81 points and nine first-place votes (voters not permitted to vote for their own team).
