Pecora and Rice Named Men's Track & Field Co-Athletes of the Week
Centennial Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Co-Athletes of the Week for the week ending February 13.
Kent Pecora, Dickinson (Sr, Chapel Hill, N.C. / Chapel
Hill)
Pecora set his second and third school records of the season over
the weekend. He broke the school mark in the 5,000 meters on Friday
night, clocking a banked-track converted time of 14:32.74 (NCAA
Provisional), winning the event at the Lafayette-Rider Winter
Games. On Sunday, he placed second, setting a new school record in
the 800 meters with a time of 1:56.00 at the Susquehanna

Peter Rice, Muhlenberg (Jr, West Roxbury, Mass. / Boston
Latin School)
Rice broke two Muhlenberg school records at the Lafayette Rider
Games. His time of 49.66 (50.16 converted) is the fastest 400 time
in the Centennial Conference this season, and he also set the
school record in the 200. Running in the 4x400 relay, Rice chased
down a Moravian runner from behind to give the Mules a fourth-place
