Haverford senior Greg Morgan took home the Division III national championship in the indoor 3,000-meter run on Saturday afternoon at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass., headlining Centennial Conference performances at the NCAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship.
Haverford's Greg Morgan and Johns Hopkins' Justin Canedy were honored as the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches (USTFCCCA) Mideast Region Track and Field Athletes of the Year, respectively.
Four Centennial Conference men's indoor track & field athletes are headed to the NCAA Indoor Championships this weekend. The Johns Hopkins trio of Matthew Su, Justin Canedy, and Alex Doran along with Haverford's Greg Morgan will represent the conference at the national meet.
