18 Bound for NCAA Championship
The Centennial Conference will send a 10-man and eight-woman contingent to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field championship beginning Thursday in Delaware, Ohio.
A maximum of 796 participants (398 men and 398 women) will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching the automatic and provisional standards established for each event. The championships will be held May 26-28 on the campus of host Ohio Wesleyan.
Representing the Conference men are Dickinson's Kent Pecora (3000 Steeplechase, 5000), Franklin & Marshall's Nils Michaelis (110 hurdles), Gettysburg's Clay Reynolds (800), Haverford's Anders Hulleberg (5000, 10,000), Tim Schoch (1500), Ivo Milic-Strkalj (1500), Eric Arnold (1500), Joe Carpenter (5000) and Lucas Fuentes (3000 Steeplechase), and Muhlenberg's Peter Rice (400).
Representing the Centennial woman are Dickinson's Catherine Campbell (10K), Taylor Ludman (10K) and Kimberly Powell (10K), Franklin & Marshall's Sheena Crawley (1500), Haverford's Christina Neilson (400), Johns Hopkins' Annie Monagle (800) and Christina Valerio (5K, 10K) and Swarthmore's Rebecca Hammond (800).
