Two Centennial Athletes Named to Capital One Academic All-America Men's Track/XC Team
To place in the decathlon at the Centennial Conference Championships, Michael Baer needed to master several disciplines. He also needed to do that to earn Academic All-America honors.
Baer was selected to the Capital One NCAA Division III Academic All-America Men's Track/Cross Country first team, as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Baer, a second-team Academic All-American last year, is the second two-time Academic All-American in the history of the Muhlenberg track and field program, joining former teammate and three-time honoree Bobby Torphy '11. He is the 23rd first-team Academic All-America selection in College history. Complete Story
