Ursinus Breaks Ground on Patterson Field Turf Project
Ursinus College broke ground on Thursday afternoon, March 17, 2011, for the renovation of Patterson Field. When completed in August, the field will provide a start-of-the-art facility for the Ursinus College football, track and field, lacrosse and soccer teams.

Two Earn All-America Honors
Dickinson senior Nick Karwoski earned two silver medals to lead the Conference contingent at the NCAA Division III Track and Field championships in Cleveland last weekend. Karwoski took second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, breaking the school record in 8:58.99. He also was runner-up in the 5,000, covering the distance in 14:29.45. Haverford's Ivo Milic-Strkalj, who earned All-America status at the NCAA indoor meet earlier this year, finished seventh in the 1500 in 3:52.50.

Dickinson Ends Haverford's Streak
Dickinson ended Haverford's 16-year dominance of the Centennial outdoor championship on Sunday at Swarthmore, winning its first-ever Conference title. Nick Karwoski (pictured) and John Bingham of the Red Devils were named Outstanding Performers. Dickinson's Don Nichter was named Coach of the Year.
