Haverford Claims Runner-Up Spot in National Championship Meet

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The defending NCAA Division III National Champions from Haverford College finished in the runner-up spot at Saturday's 2011 men's cross country national championship meet, led by a trio of Fords who raced to All-America status.
North Central (Ill.) College, ranked No. 1 all season in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national polls, captured the 2011 crown with 110 points. The second-place Fords accumulated 172 points while Washington (Mo.) University was third with 206 points.
