Meet Notes

Flank is the first Muhlenberg runner to capture the individual gold medal and earn Centennial Runner of the Year honors. It is his second consecutive first-team All-Centennial (top seven runners) honor.

Also earning back-to-back All-CC first-team honors were Johns Hopkins' Louis Levine, Haverford's Jimmy Gorman and Gettysburg's Ben Taber. Only 15 runners have garnered first-team All-Centennial three or more times and none since 2010.

Haverford placed three runners in the top seven to raise its all-time first-team All-Centennial selections to 95. Dickinson is a distant second with 30, followed by Johns Hopkins (11), Muhlenberg (10), Franklin & Marshall (9), Gettysburg (7), Swarthmore (4) and McDaniel (2).

Dickinson's Bryce Descavish finished 22nd overall and earned Centennial Rookie of the Year honors as the top first-year finisher. He is the first Red Devil to receive the award.

The nine-point differential (34-43) between Haverford and Johns Hopkins is the second smallest in the 24-year history of the championship meet. The Blue Jays edged Dickinson by five points (34-39) in 2013. The winning score of 34 ties for the highest in Conference meet history, equaling Hopkins' 2013 total.

Swarthmore's John Gagnon earned Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors. He has the top GPA among juniors and seniors on the All-Centennial first or second team.
