The most successful season in the history of Washington College Softball came to a close on Saturday afternoon as the Shorewomen fell to St. John Fisher, 4-1, in a NCAA regional elimination contest.

Lebanon Valley's Steffani Secola socked a two-out, two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to turn a 4-3 deficit into a 5-4 lead as the third-seeded Dutchmen downed seven seed Washington College, 5-4, on Friday evening.

Shorewomen Go Extras to Win First NCAA Game
Washington College snapped a 6-6 with five runs in the top half of the ninth inning to down Utica, 11-6, in the first round of the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament at Kostrinsky Field on the campus of Ithaca College.

All-Conference Softball Team; Pfrommer, Brehm, Jones, Zengel Capture Individual Awards
Ursinus 1B Allison Pfrommer was named the Player of the Year, while McDaniel's Caroline Brehm and Muhlenberg's Kelsey Jones shared Pitcher of the Year honors as the All-Centennial softball team was announced Wednesday. Gettysburg freshman OF Steph Zengel was named Rookie of the Year.
