Muhlenberg 60, Washington College

With the first snowfall of the winter causing the Muhlenberg
women’s basketball game at Washington to be pushed back an
hour, it was only fitting that it was Chili who came up big for the
Mules. Led by senior Alexandra Chili, who scored 18 of her
game-high 21 points in the second half, including the game-winner
in the final minute, Muhlenberg overcame a 17-point deficit to beat
the Shorewomen, 60-57.
Johns Hopkins 56, Dickinson 44
Freshman Maggie
Fruehan converted a layup off a pass from senior Chantel
Mattiola with 1:56 left to play to put the Johns Hopkins
women's basketball team up 12 points and secure a 56-44 victory
over Dickinson Saturday afternoon inside Goldfarb Gym. Fruehan led
the Blue Jays' scoring with 12 points and pulled down eight
rebounds. Junior Alex
Vassila posted her third double-double of the season with 10
points and a game-high 12 boards; she posted a new career-high six
blocks of the team's 11 on the day. Taylor Miller had 18 points for
the Red Devils.
Franklin & Marshall 77, McDaniel

Alexa
Barbush led a group of four Diplomats with double-digit scoring
figures by netting a career-high 25 points as Franklin &
Marshall drove past McDaniel 77-60 in Centennial Conference (CC)
action on Saturday afternoon. F&M (12-5, 9-3 CC) has now won
three straight while the loss moves the Green Terror to 7-11, 4 -10
CC. Steph Perez notched 14 points and six boards for the Green
Terror, while Rachael Rybak added 12 points.
Gettysburg 52, Haverford 42
Junior Alyssa
Oursler tallied 16 points, and senior Sara
Kinsley posted nine points and 11 rebounds to lead the
Gettysburg College women’s basketball team to a 52-42 victory
in a Centennial Conference match-up at Gooding Arena Saturday
afternoon. The Bullets (9-8, 7-5 CC) improved their win streak to
five games and went over .500 for the first time this season.
Sophomore guard Katie
Earley and sophomore forward Caroline
Murphy each recorded eight points and seven rebounds for
the Bullets. Jacquelyne Pizzuto tallied 10 points for Haverford
(12-5, 7-5 CC), and Dominique Meeks and Elizabeth Lynch each added
seven.
Ursinus 46, Swarthmore 39
Ursinus senior forward Jackie
Thomas (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) scored 11 points off
of the bench on 4-of-5 shooting, including 3-for-3 from the
three-point line as Ursinus (8-9, 7-5 Centennial) kept pace in the
Centennial Conference playoff hunt with a 46-39 win over Swarthmore
(7-9, 5-7 Centennial) Saturday afternoon. For Swarthmore,
Katie Lytle had a game-high 16 points with Elle Larsen chipping in
with 11.
