Mosley Named Head Basketball Coach at Washington College
Washington College Director of Athletics Dr. Bryan Matthews has announced the hiring of Alisha Mosley as the school's head women's basketball coach. Mosley, who has served as recruiting coordinator at Loyola (Md.) since 2005, has been an assistant coach at the NCAA Division I level since 2001.

Led by senior Madeline Ross with 22 points, the No. 2 Swarthmore College women's basketball team (23-7) defeated top-seeded Moravian College (22-7) 67-62 on Sunday afternoon to be crowned the ECAC Division III South Champions.

Gettysburg Falls Short in NCAA Opening Round
Gettysburg College fought to the bitter end against William Paterson University in the opening game of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament, but eventually the dust settled on a 71-64 decision in favor of the Pioneers inside Brubaker Gym on the campus of Messiah College Friday night.

Junior Katie Lytle scored a team-high 21 points and sophomore Elle Larsen added 18 points, as the No. 2 seed Swarthmore College women's basketball team used a dominant second-half to defeat No.3 seed Washington & Jefferson by a score of 78-63 on Saturday in the ECAC South Region Semifinals from Moravian College.

After decades of coming so close to winning a conference title, the Gettysburg College women's basketball team finally laid claim to its first as the Bullets knocked off Swarthmore College 48-46 in the Centennial Conference Championship game inside Bream Gym on Saturday.

Freshman Jessica Porter was named the Sally Musselman Most Outstanding Player after posting her third double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds in the championship game.
