Koopman Leads Green Terror to Third at Kutztown Invitational

Morgan Koopman (Finksburg, Md. / McDonogh) shot a two-day total of 164 to lead McDaniel to a third-place finish at the Kutztown Fall Invitational in women's golf action on Saturday and Sunday.

The Green Terror combined to shoot a 36-hole total of 697, posting a 359 on Saturday before improving by 21 shots to register a 338 on Sunday.

Kutztown won the title at the seven-team invitational with a score of 627 (318-309).

Koopman posted an 86 on Saturday before firing her first round in the 70s this year with a 78 on Sunday to finish tied for fifth overall.

Franklin & Marshall posted a two-round total of 778 to finish fifth in a field of seven teams at the Kutztown Invitational at Berkleigh Golf Course on Sunday. The Diplomats notched matching scores of 389 in each round to nab fifth place, while Kutztown (627), West Chester (688) and McDaniel (697) were the top three team finishers. Erin Golueke was the top F&M performer, following up Saturday's round of 87 with an 80 on Sunday to take eighth with a two-round score of 167.
