OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Emma Sindelar, Swarthmore (Fr, F, Salt Lake City, Utah / Waterford)
Sindelar tallied three goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for the Garnet. Against Muhlenberg, she scored in the 20th minute and added an assist on sophomore Amber Famiglietti's game-winning goal in the 31st minute. She scored in the 36th and 71st minutes against CCNY, while adding another assist in that 9-1 non-conference win on Saturday.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Meg Castranova, Gettysburg (Fr, B, Lawrenceville, N.J. / Pennington School)
Castranova helped Gettysburg hold a pair of opponents to just one combined goal in a 2-0 week. She helped hold McDaniel to just six shots in a 5-1 win at Oct. 19, while also dishing out an assist on the first tally. On Oct. 22, Gettysburg's defense held Muhlenberg to just seven shots in a 1-0 victory.

CENTENNIAL NOTEBOOK
The 9-1 victory over CCNY marks the most goals and largest margin of victory for a Swarthmore team in the Todd Anckaitis era. The nine goals marks the most goals scored in a single game in program history and ties the largest margin of victory (8-0 vs. Alvernia 9/5/98). The Garnet finds itself ranked No. 4 in the Mid-Atlantic region in the the first edition of the NSCAA Regional Rankings, its highest ranking in program history.
Johns Hopkins is now 15-0 with two games remaining in the regular season. The Blue Jays have outscored their opponents 63-6 this season with 11 shutouts.
