Ursinus Breaks Ground on Patterson Field Turf Project
Ursinus College broke ground on Thursday afternoon, March 17, 2011, for the renovation of Patterson Field. When completed in August, the field will provide a start-of-the-art facility for the Ursinus College football, track and field, lacrosse and soccer teams.

Three Earn All-America Honors
Muhlenberg senior Alex Faust finished fourth in the pole vault to lead the Conference contingent at the NCAA Division III Track and Field championships in Cleveland last weekend. She cleared 12-6 3/4 to earn her third All-America honor and second outdoors. Johns Hopkins senior Laura Paulsen took sixth in the 5,000 with a season-best effort of 17:06. Franklin & Marshall freshman Sheena Crawley placed eighth in the 800 in 2:12.83 to earn her first All-America honor.

Johns Hopkins won its first-ever Centennial Conference outdoor title, edging four-time defending champion Haverford by five points. Blue Jay senior Laura Paulsen and Muhlenberg senior Alexandra Faust were named the meet's Outstanding Performers. Johns Hopkins' Bobby Van Allen was named Coach of the Year.
