Franklin & Marshall freshman Julie Harvey has been named to
the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American
Honorable Mention team, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Harvey becomes the first freshman and third Diplomat to earn
All-American consideration. The other two F&M players to
receive the honor were Nicole Morano in 2009 and Margot Phelan in
2006.
The postseason awards continue to roll in for Harvey, as she was
also named the AVCA Mid-Atlantic Region Freshman of the Year, the
Centennial Conference (CC) Co-Player of the Year and made her way
onto both the All-Mid-Atlantic and All-CC First Teams.
Harvey paced F&M in hitting percentage (.340), kills (358) and
blocks (56) and finished tops in the CC in hitting percentage,
second in both kills and points (4.11 per game) and 10th in
blocks.

are Johns Hopkins' first All-Americans since 2005.
Last week, both Cole and Donohoe were named to the All-Centennial
Conference First Team and the All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team
after helping the Blue Jays to their first ever Centennial
