Swarthmore's Pollen Points to 2012 Games
(April 2) - Philadelphia's NBC affiliate - WCAU-TV 10 - produced a story on Swarthmore swimmer Travis Pollen. If you follow Centennial swimming, you are familiar with Pollen's story. If not, watch and find out what makes Pollen an inspiration to his teammates and all of us in his quest to reach the pinnacle of his sport.

Swarthmore Swimmer Captures Paralympics National Championship
(March 30) - "Sophomore Travis Pollen captured a national championship in the S9 classification 50-meter freestyle while taking second place in the 100-meter freestyle to highlight his outstanding performance at the 2010 U.S. Paralympics Spring Swimming Nationals, held at the Palo Alto College Natatorium over the weekend. Pollen's time in the 50 free (28.47) ranks second in the United States for his classification and 24th in the world, while his time in the 100 free (1:01.42) ranks fourth in the U.S. and 21st in the world for the S9 classification."

Grabiak Earns All-America Honors
(March 20) - "Tom Grabiak closed out his career at Franklin & Marshall in All-American fashion, placing fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke on Saturday, the final day of competition at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. The fifth place finish makes Grabiak an All-American for the second time this weekend, and the sixth time in his career. Grabiak swam a 2:02.22 to finish 1.08 behind the national champion, Ian Bakk of Kenyon. Bakk swam a 2:01.14 to secure to the national championship."

Diplomat Swimmers Double Up
(February 21) - Color the night blue as the Franklin & Marshall swimming teams captured both the men's and women's championships on Sunday at F&M's Kunkel Aquatic Center. It is the sixth consecutive championship for the Diplomat men and eighth overall, while the women took home the trophy for the third time and first since 2005. Washington's Rachel Glasser was named the Most Outstanding Female Performer, while F&M's Tom Grabiak (pictured) won the MOP for an unprecedented third time. Diplomat head coach Bob Rueppel was named Coach of the Year.

Diplomats Secure Dual Meet Title With 22nd Straight CC Victory
(February 8) - "On the strength of a 122-83 win at Gettysburg, Franklin & Marshall wrapped up its third consecutive season and 22nd consecutive Centennial Conference (CC) meet without a loss. F&M (6-2, 6-0 CC) won eight of 11 races with the Bullets' (5-4, 4-2 CC) Matt Libby and a Diplomats' disqualification breaking up an otherwise flawless afternoon." Jake Ringgold, pictured
