Haverford's Rebecca Salvo Named 2nd Team All-America
(November 18) - Haverford senior Rebecca Salvo became the Conference's first two-time All-America choice with her selection to the AVCA All-America second team. A third-team All-American in 2008, Rebecca is joined on the squad by honorable mention selections Rachel Salvo, Kate Comey and F&M's Nicole Morano.

Four Named to All-Region Team
(November 18) - Four Centennial Conference players were recognized by the AVCA with their selection to the All-Mid-Atlantic Region team. Haverford placed three players on the list, headed by two-time CC Player of the Year Rebecca Salvo. She is joined by her sister, Rachel, and teammate Kate Comey. Franklin & Marshall's Nicole Morano also was named to the squad.

Eastern Ends Haverford Season in NCAA Regional Semifinals
(November 14) - "In Friday's NCAA Regional semifinal two schools
separated by five miles met almost 200 miles away from their respective
campuses at Juniata College.
The No. 24-ranked Haverford College
volleyball team saw its season end and will be making the
three-and-a-half hour drive home as No. 23 Eastern University won, 3-0
(25-20, 25-20, 25-23), and will face Juniata in the regional final
Saturday. Haverford was swept for just the second time this season."

Haverford Places Pair on All-CC Volleyball First Team; Rebecca Salvo Repeats as Player of the Year
(November 11) - Haverford, who won its fourth straight Conference championship last weekend, placed
two players on the first team as the
2009 All-Centennial volleyball team was released today.
Ford senior Rebecca Salvo repeated as Player of the Year and was joined on the first unit
by her sister, Rachel, the 2007 CC Player of the Year. Swarthmore head coach Harleigh Chwastyk
was selected by her peers as the Coach of the Year.

Four for Four
(November 8) - "The No. 25-ranked Haverford College volleyball team etched its name in Centennial Conference history becoming just the third four-peat ever with a 3-0 (25-8, 25-20, 25-22) victory over Gettysburg College Sunday afternoon. Haverford fed off the momentum of a dominating first set and played nearly perfect in its biggest match of the season."

42 Students Named to Fall Academic Honor Roll
(November 3) - Forty-two volleyball players are among a group of 331
students who have been named to the 2009 Centennial Conference Fall
Academic Honor Roll. To be nominated for the Honor Roll, a student must
meet the following criteria: (a) participates in at least 50 percent of
contests, matches or meets, or in the Conference varsity championship in
cross country; (b) a sophomore or higher in class standing; (c)
