Vincent Takes 197 Crown at All-Academies
(February 7) - "The 12th ranked Mariner wrestling squad placed 4th among the seven academies at the 16th annual All-Academy finals this weekend in Annapolis, MD. The team gained a total of 51.0 points as they continued to build on their successful season. Senior Eric Vincent (Trussville, AL) led the Mariners as the squad's top finisher, winning the 197-pound weight class. Eric Vincent, the #1 seed in the 197-pouund weight class, sailed straight through to the crown, defeating Navy's Charles Carafano 9-3 in a regular decision."

McDaniel Topples Gettysburg
(February 4) - "Joe Camlin (Westminster, Md. / Winters Mill) recorded a third-period fall to seal a Centennial Conference (CC) wrestling win for McDaniel at Gettysburg on Wednesday. A Brock Glotfelty (Grantsville, Md. / Northern Garrett) first-period pin wrapped up a 29-12 victory for the Green Terror (7-6, 4-1 CC), who won six of the 10 bouts. The Bullets (3-11, 2-3 CC) recorded wins by decision in all four of their victories. "

Ursinus Blanks Muhlenberg
(February 4) - "Ursinus won all ten matches as the Bears (9-1, 4-1 Centennial) blanked Muhlenberg (0-11, 0-5 Centennial) 48-0 Wednesday night in a CC wrestling dual match. At 149, sophomore Connor McCormick (Pottstown, Pa. / Owen J. Roberts) pinned Matthew Parker in 1:21, followed by a 17-2 technical fall win from junior John Whitham (Abington, Pa. / La Salle) at 157."

Mariners Upend Ursinus to Take First Place
(January 31) - The 12th ranked Merchant Marine wrestling team took sole possession of first place in the Conference with a 26-17 victory over previously unbeaten Ursinus Saturday in Allentown. The Mariners also knocked off Stevens and Muhlenberg to improve to 5-0 in the CC and 11-6 overall. USMMA took control of the Ursinus match in the middle weights (149-174), as Nick Swanson, Dan Twito, Vincent Renaut (pictured) and Justin Diesel all recorded wins to turn an 8-4 deficit into a 20-8 lead.
